ASHUTOSH KAUSHIK is the man with the Midas Touch. Whatever he touches is turning into a gold for him.
Well we can call him the king of reality shows. [Well Shipa Shetty is the queen ]
After wininng the MTV Roadies 5.0 he participated in the Indian version of Big Brother i.e the Big Boss. Never expected to be a serious contender in the previous 2 reality shows, he went on to win both the reality shows.
Ashutosh will be the second indian after Shilpa Shetty to enter into the Big Brother.
Shilpa won the previous Big Brother show after a lot of controversy.
Can Ashu do it or not is the question. Can he take a Hat-trick wicket? Only time will tell
The Interest Rates In US fell to rock bottom when it was reduced from 1% to something between 0%-0.25%. This is a step taken in order to combat the ongoing recession. The Federal Reserve has indicated that this interest rates would stay like this for some time due to the weakening economy.
This decision cheered Dow Jones to almost 360 points up.
Why did the recession start in US?
1. Credit Card Based System. [People use credit for purchasing anything. But they didn't had the money to pay back the credit resulting in huge losses]
2. Less control over private banks.
3. The Falling Real-estate process
4. Trust shown by the privates banks by investing majority of its money on futures was the major cause.
1. Youtube features and Youtube Team do not have any control over what videos are being uploaded. A video will be looked into and removed only if someone flags it, by the time its done the video would have several hundreds to thousands views.
2. As much as Video uploading should be controlled even the comments section should be moderated. There’s a different world outhtere. Just search for terms like India Pakistan, India China, China Japan etc. select a video and just look at the comments sections. You will be shocked at the type of racist discussion people would be having there.
3. Compared to the first 2 this reason is not that much important to all but for a few.
Youtube does not have a strong and stable revenue sharing model.
4. Failure to act against users who upload copyrighted material like movies, songs etc.
5. The features available for the users are pretty much outdated. Youtube provides us with a great platform for us to do anything but we are the ones who are misusing it.
A suicide truck bomber attacked a Hotel from Islamabad killing 45 people and wounding more than 300 people. The Merriot Hotel was a the location for delegation meeting few hours later and so was equiped with high security. Even then A truck managed to crash into the hotel. The exploasives in the truck were so much that it created a 20 feet crater near the blast site. The Merriot hotel is on a brink of collapse and the casualties are expected more.
This attack comes as a setback for Pakistan because of their thinning relations with the US due to recent attacks by the latter in Pakistsan against some terroists.

Since this past weekend’s Digg event, more users on the popular social news site have been investigating what goes on behind the scenes. New stories have been posted about heavy diggers, people who spend their days promoting thousands of stories in a very short time. Some people were found to have submitted over a thousand diggs inside of 48 hours.
Meanwhile, the team working at the company has apparently implemented measures to limit this activity, with a new feature that restricts how often one can digg:
Early reports indicate that a heavy digger could hit this message for over 8 hours at a time, which seems to indicate they are mostly aiming at keeping the casual users. The real test is if we see the front page have a different type of stories from now on.
One of the big new feature all the browsers are touting for their upcoming releases is the way the navigation bar works. Firefox has had the Awesome Bar since the 3.0 release, which pulls results from your bookmarks and history:
The new Google Chrome has its own version of that bar, which takes less room but is also less precise with the results shown:
Both however suffer from the same basic flaw. The user doesn’t know what he’s looking at. Are those results valid domain names, search results from Google, part of his bookmarks, history, or recently visited pages? This is where IE8 Beta 2 shines. Now I’m not one to praise IE often, in fact for most things I find it’s about the worse choice of browser. But this time, they made the right decision:
As the team explains it, the new bar in Beta 2 pulls results from everywhere it can, including autocomplete searches, bookmarks, history and even feeds. But the most important thing is it shows where each result is from. You can even delete items directly from the drop down list, which removes them permanently.
As I see it, this is the way a navigation bar should work, if you’re going to do anything at all other than normal URL entries. I hope other browsers are seeing this and will improve their navigation bar in the same way.
Google announced that they will start anonymizing IP logs earlier than previously. It used to be that they kept logs of everything you did, linked to your IP address, for 18 months. Now, they are reducing it to 9 months.
Their announcement post goes into the fact that they need the IP logs not only to comply with any legal or government demands, but simply as part of their tracking algorithms, to deliver targeted ads.
This comes in part as a result of the European Union investigation into Google’s privacy practices. Google tried to claim that their rules do not apply to the company search data, since that data is covered by US patent law. The company hopes this new policy will help its standing with the EU.
While it’s admirable that they are improving their privacy policies, 9 months is still a long time. The EU welcomed this change but also believes 6 months would be a better figure.
